Catherine Algeri Transitions from DSCC to Lead New Digital and Political Advertising Practice-

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With digital organizing and fundraising taking an even stronger foothold in the lead up to the 2020 elections, Chapman, Cubine and Hussey (CCAH) announced today that Catherine Algeri will join the award-winning direct marketing and digital firm as Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Algeri, who comes to CCAH from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), where she was the first Latina and woman of color to spearhead digital operations and strategy for a major party committee, will lead the company’s new Digital and Political Advertising practice.

“We are very excited to have Catherine lead our team of digital political strategists to offer both cutting-edge offline and online fundraising strategies,” said Kim Cubine, President of CCAH, which has handled the offline fundraising for political powerhouses, such as EMILY’s List, the DSCC, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and is currently working with several of the 2020 Democratic presidential contenders.

“Digital is driving the day across fundraising, organizing and winning elections and I’m excited to take on this new challenge at Chapman, Cubine and Hussey,” Algeri said. “Let’s get to work and win in 2020.”

During the 2018 and 2016 cycles, Algeri led the DSCC’s historic digital grassroots fundraising successes. In addition to the DSCC, Algeri led digital efforts for Michelle Nunn’s 2014 U.S. Senate campaign in Georgia, as well as for U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT).

Algeri has also worked in the private sector for a large database marketing company. She and her husband live in Northern Virginia with their young daughter.
