This Thursday, come out to the DMAW’s February “Lunch and Learn: Case Studies from MAXI Award Winners – How Did They Do It?” for insight on direct marketing campaigns that have traversed new roads and achieved award-winning results.
During the hour-long lunch presentation, I’ll be part of a panel of three MAXI Award winners who will provide in-depth looks at our inventive and incredibly successful fundraising initiatives. MAXI campaigns are recognized for outstanding results and innovation, and attendees are sure to gain techniques and best practices that can turn any direct marketing campaign into an award contender.
Here are the MAXI Award-winning campaigns that will be highlighted during Thursday’s Lunch and Learn:
- I will share details about a remarkable email campaign for People for The American Way (PFAW) that raised nearly $640,000 in a matter of weeks.
- Lesley Hostetter of Lautman Maska Neill & Company will speak about a multi-channel campaign for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine that generated an 8.75% response in the mail and a dazzling 24.8% open rate online.
- Steve Kehrli of PETA will explain how an inexpensive, donor-acquisition postcard garnered a 1.95% response rate and an average gift of almost $34.
