Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey’s Political Fundraising Campaigns Earn Multiple Pollie Awards from the AAPC

Direct marketing firm takes home five awards for its work with The Democratic National Committee, People for the American Way, Amnesty International USA and NARAL

Arlington, Va. – May 2, 2012- Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey (CCAH), a full-service direct marketing firm serving global nonprofit organizations, today announced it received five Pollie Awards during the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) 2012 Annual Pollie Awards & Conference. CCAH received two silver, two bronze and one honorable mention for its fundraising campaigns for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), People for the American Way (PFAW), Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) and NARAL spanning multiple channels, including direct mail, online and telemarketing.

The Pollie Awards™ (Pollies) are bipartisan honors annually awarded by the AAPC to members of the political advertising and communications industry who have demonstrated superior work on behalf of their candidates and causes.  Winners are selected by a blind jury of their peers. The annual Pollie Awards & Conference marks the beginning of the next political season where political professionals gather to learn, celebrate, relax, network and refuel for the upcoming 2012 election cycle.

AAPC Vice President Art Hackney said, “Our judging panel of more than 250 experts – representing all disciplines, including new media – was particularly impressed by the caliber of work from which it had to choose. This was one of the most competitive non-presidential election seasons we’ve seen, and the honorees stood out among a record-number of impressive Pollie entries. The AAPC is proud to recognize CCAH for its ongoing efforts in the political consulting community and for serving as an example for a new generation of campaign and political professionals.”

CCAH was recognized in two different categories for its 2011 fundraising initiatives for four global organizations. The company received two Pollies for its work on behalf of the DNC – a silver for “Presidential Partners Renewal” and a bronze for the “GOP Poll Appeal,” both direct mail campaigns. CCAH was also awarded a silver Pollie for its “Recall the Right Online Fundraiser” for PFAW. For its telemarketing appeals, the company received a bronze award for the AIUSA “2011 Emergency Human Rights Online Activist Conversion” campaign, as well as an honorable mention for its “2011 Stop ‘Stupak on Steroids’ Responsive Appeal” on behalf of NARAL. For more than a decade, CCAH has been recognized with multiple Pollie Awards for a variety of clients.

Kim Cubine, president of CCAH, said, “The entire CCAH team is honored to be recognized as a leader in political fundraising and awareness. We’re in the midst of an exciting political year, and we anticipate continuing to develop innovative campaigns that resonate with our core donor audiences. CCAH is pleased that our efforts on behalf of the  Democratic National Committee, People for the American Way, Amnesty International and NARAL proved so successful for both the organizations and the industry as a whole.”
