Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey Signs Mothers Against Drunk Driving
New Direction for Nonprofit’s Direct Marketing Program to Feature an Omni-Channel Strategy
Arlington, Va. – June 10, 2014 – Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey (CCAH), a full-service direct marketing firm serving global nonprofit organizations, announced today the signing of Dallas–based Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD), the nation's largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. CCAH will lead comprehensive, multichannel, integrated fundraising campaigns on behalf of the nonprofit.
Direct marketing represents over a quarter of all MADD income, and it is the driving force behind MADD's donations from individuals. In selecting CCAH, MADD seeks to build on their past successes and take their direct marketing program to the next level. CCAH's efforts will feature a multi-pronged approach including growing MADD's monthly giving program; developing new acquisition formats; improving long-term value; and improving cross-channel integration.
Debbie Weir, MADD's Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are glad to be working with Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey. CCAH has a proven track record of reaching advocates and donors where they consume information – online, by phone and via mail – and integrating marketing efforts in a cohesive way across all channels. We are excited about creating a successful partnership that will help us raise more funds to save lives, prevent injuries and serve victims."
Lon Chapman, CCAH's Executive Vice President and Managing Partner of the West Coast office, said, "The importance of MADD's mission – stopping drunk driving, supporting the victims of this violent crime and preventing underage drinking – cannot be overstated. CCAH looks forward to assisting MADD in achieving its goal of a nation without drunk driving by drawing on our strength: constituent-centered marketing. We will make a coherent case for donor involvement by developing and conducting integrated, multichannel campaigns that combine the complementary strengths of direct mail, telemarketing and digital media."
