Arlington, Va. – January 30, 2012 – Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey (CCAH), a full-service direct marketing firm serving global nonprofit organizations, today announced that Pete Carter, principal and senior vice president, has been elected to the Direct Marketing Association of Washington’s (DMAW) board of directors for a two-year period. During his term, Carter will also serve a co-chair of the membership committee.
The 15-member board of directors will help guide the DMAW, which is the largest regional direct marketing association in the U.S. The DMAW promotes ethical business standards in direct marketing practices, while supporting direct marketing education in both the association and academic environments, as well as sharing information and best practices among members and the industry as a whole. DMAW members are located in the Washington Metro, Baltimore, and Central Virginia area and include end-users, vendors, suppliers, agencies, freelancers, educators, and students.
“It’s an honor to represent CCAH on the DMAW board of directors, and I can’t wait to get to work,” said Carter. “The DMAW has a lot of exciting plans this year, with a particular focus on multi-channel marketing. Carter joined CCAH in 1995, and since then has led the marketing programs for many of the firm's major nonprofit and commercial clients. His work on various direct marketing campaigns has been recognized with numerous industry awards. Carter also serves as a company and subject matter spokesperson at key industry functions.
