Award-winning producer and composer joins multi-channel direct marketing firm
to help manage digital strategy across various accounts
Arlington, Va. – April 17, 2013 – Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey (CCAH), a full-service direct marketing firm serving global nonprofit organizations, today announced Dan Kamas has joined the company as a senior strategist. Kamas will help support CCAH’s continued digital services growth and maximize its digital initiatives across a number of client accounts through channel analysis and best practice implementation. As senior strategist, Kamas will draw from his vast video production and consumer-based web experience to help CCAH create attention-getting digital strategies designed to convert online and mobile supporters into valued donors.
Most recently, Kamas was director of development and production at Keith Rivers Films, where he managed global broadcast advertisement creative teams for Microsoft. He oversaw production on a series of videos announcing Microsoft’s Surface™ tablet, for which his team was recognized with a gold and two silver ADDY Awards from the Seattle chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Kamas also composed the musical score for several Microsoft videos while at Keith Rivers Films. He previously designed creative assets, developed marketing materials and created strategies for several organizations including Tapjoy, Inc., Product X Productions, Inc. and Community Health Plan. In 2007, Kamas started AOK Friends, a small group dedicated to feeding the homeless in Seattle, which has grown from four volunteers to more than 300 in a little over five years.
Kim Cubine, president of CCAH, said, “We are thrilled to add an award-winning digital content creator like Dan to the CCAH team. As digital channels continue to experience explosive growth, we want to ensure we have the expertise needed to deliver effective multi-channel strategies and measureable results for our portfolio of worldwide nonprofit organizations. Dan’s experience managing high-profile accounts such as Microsoft will enable him to quickly identify areas of growth and develop key digital strategies across a variety of accounts. I speak for the entire CCAH team when I say welcome aboard.”
