As we closed out 2018, CCAH hosted our annual Holiday Party downtown in DC at Lost Society. There was mixing and mingling between many clients, friends and of course the CCAH staff and families. The long-time tradition was just as festive as ever with a great DJ spinning tunes, wonderful food and drink …..but most importantly – great company. We had so much fun getting to mingle with members of the great organizations we get to work with every day and really enjoyed a special evening outside of the office! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate the past year with us; we are so grateful for your partnership and so excited to see what 2019 brings!
Since 1976, Twinsburg, Ohio has hosted an annual festival for twins where thousands of siblings gather to celebrate their similarities. But today the #twinning phenomenon has spread across social media and even the CCAH offices!
Many students can learn about the basics of marketing, standard terminology, and common practices in their college courses, but not everyone gets the chance to have a real-life experience that truly provides invaluable understanding in the field of marketing.
When I left for North Carolina last week to canvass for Hillary Clinton, I knew exactly why I was going. As a former field organizer, I know the impact door-to-door canvassing can have on an election. In 2008, when President Obama won North Carolina, the margin of victory was 14,177 votes. That was the closest margin in any state in the country. I went to North Carolina because I knew the doors I knocked on would make a difference in one of the tightest races in the country.
When a child is sick, the last thing a parent should have to worry about is money. Every family should have access to the best medical care possible for their child regardless of ability to pay.
No organization understands this fact better than Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation (PCHF) — one of the newest clients to join the CCAH family. PCHF's mission is to inspire generosity from kind people in Arizona and nationwide to support the children, families and physicians of Phoenix Children's Hospital.
For the 23rd consecutive year, CCAH took home more MAXI awards than any other direct marketing agency. To be exact, CCAH won eight MAXIs–one gold, three silver and four bronze–for outstanding direct marketing campaigns executed on behalf of seven different clients across three different channels.
What an honor it is to be a SmartCEO Brava Award recipient! And, what an amazing time we all had at the gala awards ceremony. I am filled with joy by such a special moment in my life — and so happy I could share it with my family and friends.
One of the proudest moments of my life came when I was standing on stage behind Secretary Clinton, celebrating her resounding victory in the South Carolina Democratic Primary. While on stage, I initially thought about how proud I was of her, how proud I was of our team, and how proud I was of myself for not nervously shaking too much. As I listened to Secretary Clinton talk about what the campaign had done so far, and about what the campaign sought to do, various images from the weekend came to my mind.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26th. With its arrival, the holiday season is upon us!
