Social media, as an important part of online communications, should be part of your nonprofit's marketing, engagement, and fundraising strategy – but you shouldn't just jump in blindly. You need to approach social media with the same diligence and attention to detail you use with your direct mail, email, and telemarketing programs.
This panel will discuss best practices for creating social media campaigns that not only integrate with the rest of your marketing efforts and maximize viral potential, but are set up from the beginning to be trackable, and thus reportable. We'll also discuss what to do with all the data that comes from these campaigns, since data for the sake of data ca be fun – for some of us at least! – but is useless without proper analysis.
